2026 City of Casper and Natrona County 1% Sales Tax Survey
Your household has been selected to participate in the 2026 One Cent Survey. The City of Casper and Natrona County have contracted with ETC Institute, a national market research firm that specializes in surveys for local governments, to conduct this effort. The Optional One Cent Sales Tax is a major source of funding for local governments throughout Natrona County, including the Cities of Casper and Mills, and the towns of Bar Nunn, Midwest, Edgerton, and Evansville. Because this tax must be renewed by voters every four years, it will appear on the ballot again this November. Prior to that election, selected residents are invited to share their views about how these funds should be allocated if the tax is renewed.
The following survey should take approximately 5-10 minutes to complete. Your responses are strictly confidential and anonymous; City and County officials will only receive summarized results from the research fim. The information gathered through this survey will help guide decisions about community priorities.
